Today question

 

What genre of movies do you dislike? Why do you dislike it? When have you seen a movie of that genre? Tell me as many details as you can about your least favorite movie genre.

Sample Answer

I particularly hate horror movies. I usually like all kinds of movies but I cannot watch any horror movies.
When I was younger, I watched The Grudge and I was traumatized. I was afraid of the images and the sounds from that movie.

After that movie, I couldn’t sleep and, even when I did, I would have nightmares. I was a college student at that time, but I was still scared because I lived by myself in the dormitories. Every noise startled me for almost a month! Even now, I can’t get the images out of my mind. I think that I cannot watch horror movies because I have a weak stomach and I can’t watch gruesome and bloody films.

Another time, I watched Saw and I was so scared that I couldn’t go home by myself. The movie was so gruesome so I felt nauseous during the movie. The funny thing is, my girlfriend loves horror movies. Usually the guy would suggest watching horror movies but my girlfriend is always the one who suggests watching horror movies.

Sometimes, we fight in the movie theater because she wants to watch a horror movie and I don’t. I wish that I could get the courage to watch a whole horror movie without closing my eyes or screaming like a girl
