04. My Project

오늘은 프로젝트에 대한 소개 내용입니다. 
직장을 선택하면 프로젝트에 대해 나올 확률이 있습니다.

기본적인 것은 기본적인 내용인데요. 한번 읽어보시고 Key Expression은 챙겨 가시기 바랍니다.

You mentioned in the survey that you work at a company. Please tell me about a project you've recently worked on. What was it about? What did you do for the project?
설문 조사에서 당신은 회사에서 일한다고 하였습니다. 최근에 하였던 프로젝트에 대하여 말해 주세요. 어떤 일이었나요? 프로젝트에서 무엇을 했나요?

 

1. As a computer programmer, my job is to create a homepage and identify the needs of my customers. 
   컴퓨터 프로그래머로서 저의 일은 홈페이지를 만들고 고객의 요구를 찾는 것입니다.
2. The project I worked on last month was making an online shopping mall's homepage.
   지난달 참여했던 프로젝트는 온라인 쇼핑몰 홈페이지를 제작하는 것이었습니다.
3. I was in charge of meeting with the clients, and had to make sure we meet their needs.
   고객을 만나서 그들의 요구를 맞추는 것이 저의 일이었습니다.
4. I worked with designers from the design department who showed a cooperative attitude.
   저는 디자인 부서의 디자이너들과 일을 하였고 그들은 협조적이었습니다.
5. After finishing the project, the designers and I were relieved.
   프로젝트를 끝낸 후에 디자이너들과 저는 마음이 놓였습니다.

1. identify : 확인하다. 찾다
2. cooperative : 협조적인
3. deadline : 납기
4. at last : 마침내

As a computer programmer, my job is to create a homepage and identify the needs of my customers. The project I worked on last month was making an online shopping mall's homepage. I was in charge of meeting with the clients, and had to make sure we meet their needs. They wanted the homepage to be neat and simple. I worked with designers from the design department who showed a cooperative attitude. We didn't have enough time, but we kept the deadline at last. After finishing the project, the designers and I were relieved.

컴퓨터 프로그래머로서 저의 일은 홈페이지를 만들고 고객의 요구를 찾는 것입니다. 지난달 참여했던 프로젝트는 온라인 쇼핑몰 홈페이지를 제작하는 것이었습니다. 저는 고객을 만나는 것을 담당하였고 고객의 욕구를 확실하게 충족시켜야 했습니다. 그들은 깔끔하고 단순한 홈페이지를 원했습니다. 저는 디자인 부서의 디자이너들과 일을 하였고 그들은 협조적이었습니다. 시간이 별로 없었지만, 결국에는 납기를 맞추었습니다. 프로젝트를 끝낸 후에 디자이너들과 저는 마음이 놓였습니다.

I worked /with /designers /from the design department /who/ showed a cooperative attitude. 

* who관계대명사는 선행사에 대해 부연 설명하는 것으로 이해하면 됩니다. 영어는 먼저 대상을 언급하고 
  추가설명하는(뒤에서 꾸미는) 형식을 정말 좋아 합니다. 우리나라 인식 구조가 다른 점입니다.
  해석은 그사람은 으로 해석하면 됩니다.

 나는 일했다, /함께하는 것은/ 디자이너 / 시작된 곳은/ 디자인부서/ 그사람은/ 보여줬다/ 협조적인 자세을
 Desgners를 설명하는 것은 2개입니다. 
 1) 디자인 부서라는 것
 2) 협조적인 자세를 보여줬다는 것 입니다. 
만약 2문장으로 바꾼다면,

1) I worked /with /designers /from the design department.
2) and They showed a cooperative attitude. 
They를 Who관계대명사를 바꾸고 2개문장을 합치는 것입니다.
